- Transportation
The most common case is either the hotel is only a few minutes away from the airport or free shuttle transfer is available. However, there are some slightly secluded hotels that are on the islands or in the remote villages, for example, Victoria Cliff. If you are traveling on your own, look for those providing free transfer or check if taxi is available. If you are traveling with Gatsby or other tour agent, this shouldn't be a problem, though. - Check-in & Check-out:
Check-in time is mostly after 0200pm and check-out before 1200pm. Some hotels allow early check-in as many flights from Yangon arrive in the early morning; if not, you can always put your luggage at the hotel and explore before the check-in time. Some middle-scale hotels (room number of 40 and up) encourge self check-out by leaving your room key on the receptionist.
