My friend and I, both serious amateur photographers, worked with Mia to set up a three-day photography tour in the Guilin/Yangshuo area. Mia created what we found to be a perfect itinerary to take advantage of the photographic possibilities in the area, including mountaintop sunrise and sunsets, river photos, portraiture opportunities, and a few local sites (e.g., the caves). Our tour guide, Jessica, was not only knowledgable about the area, she was experienced in the sites where we photographed and able to make suggestions re settings and lenses that were quite helpful. Andy and Mia have fulfilled a niche that is critical for photographers interested in capturing the best of the local areas and most importantly, doing so at the right time of the day for lighting. Jessica also went the extra mile in meeting our individual needs throughout, making the entire experience very special.
